When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. The Ultimate Blender is an accessory to be used with the Ultimate
Chopper
2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put base of the unit
in water or other liquid
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
4. Always unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp plug and pull
from electrical outlet. Never pull cord.
5. Avoid contact with moving-parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return appliance for examination, repair, and/or mechanical or electrical
adjustment.
7. If power supply cord is damaged, because special tools are required, the
manufacturer will repair or replace the cord at their discretion
8. Make sure motor has completely stopped before removing the Blender
Lid. If the machine does not stop, do not use it.
9. The use of attachments, including canning or ordinary jars, is not
recommended - these may cause fire, electrical shock or risk of injury
10. Do not use outdoors.
11. Do not let cord hang over edge of counter or table or touch hot surfaces
12. Keep hands and utensils out of Blender Jar while blending, to reduce the
risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender itself. A rubber
or plastic spatula may be used but only when Blender is turned off.
13. BLENDER BLADES ARE SHARP – HANDLE WITH CARE
14. Always operate The Ultimate Chopper with the Blender Lid in place.
15. When blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece Blender Lid
16. Do not use Start Lever if lever becomes detached from the base.

17. Do not attempt to defeat the Blender Base interlock mechanism
18. Be sure Blender Base is securely locked in place before operating
appliance.
19. Do not use an extension cord with this unit. Doing so may result in fire,
electrical shock, or personal injury.
20. Never remove Blender Lid while machine is in use. Remove Lid Plug from
Blender Lid to add food or liquids.
21. As the motor is very powerful, do not operate the Ultimate Chopper continuously
for longer than 45 seconds at a time. If necessary, allow the
Blender to cool down for a minimum of 15 minutes before next use
